If you take a taxi onto the city from the airport, be wary. Average costs are between 3,000 to 4,000 Russian rubles, but always make sure you agree on the price before you get in the taxi. The airport offers an express bus for around 400 rubles

Getting around in Saint Petersburg is easily accomplished by taxi, aquabus, tram, and metro (subway). Fares for all forms of public transport are inexpensive, but if you are staying in the city for longer than a week, it is worth investing in a travel card
